1st Steps

Before applying for your race license, we strongly recommend participating in at least one track event to ensure you truly enjoy driving on track. While many of us love the thrill and adrenaline, it isn’t suitable for everyone.

The next step is to apply for your ARDS MSA Starter Pack. This pack is mandatory for obtaining your licence and contains the essential information you’ll need for the written part of the test.

Before booking your test, we also recommend having a few simulator sessions and some track time to build confidence and sharpen your skills.

Test

Ensure you prepare for the written portion of the race license. Knowing your flags and starting procedures is essential to passing. Once the written section is complete, it’s time to take to the track with the examiner. Remember, the examiner isn’t looking for the next Lewis Hamilton—they’re making sure you demonstrate strong awareness and control.

Ive passed what do I need?

We always recommend that, unless you already own it, you don’t purchase your race equipment until after you’ve passed your test. Visit a store to try on the kit, and make sure you test everything while seated—this is how you’ll be wearing it, and it needs to be comfortable above all else.
