In association with Apex Developments, we are excited to announce the opening of our new trackday facilities in Cannock.
We have seen increasing demand from non-retail customers who require support with trackday preparation — whether that’s fitting performance parts or carrying out essential safety checks before heading out on track.
Our highly motorsport-trained staff at Apex bring many years of experience across trackdays, racing, and professional track preparation, ensuring every vehicle is prepared to the highest standard.
Essential checks to consider if you are taking your car on track for the first time, especially for vehicles like Clio, Megane, Mini, Fiesta, and Focus, to ensure a pure track experience. Check the tyre condition and wear, and make sure to use the recommended track pressures. Inspect the brake discs and pads, along with the brake fluid. Don't forget to check fluid levels including oil, coolant, and power steering. Inspect the spring and shock condition for any leaks, splits, or cracks. Look at the rear and front bushes for play, and check the wheel bearings and tie rods for any movement. Lastly, ensure the engine, gearbox, heat shields, and exhaust mounts are all secure and in good condition.
As above, but for larger, more complex vehicles that require a longer time to carry out the above checks. If you are unsure, please contact us at Pure Track.
As above but includes an Oil & filter change, plus any additional services like a Brake fluid change, ensuring your vehicle is in pure track condition.
Purchase a splitter from Pure Track Racing, and have the stress of fitting taken away.
