Developed and tested on our own race and track cars, these shims are designed to significantly reduce heat transfer from the pads and discs into the calipers and brake fluid, helping to maintain braking performance under extreme conditions. Premium Material: Precision-cut from 0.635mm aerospace-grade titanium, specially imported from the USA. Heat Resistance: Withstands temperatures of 900°C+ , providing the ultimate confidence in your braking system. Fitment : Designed for the Mini Cooper R53 but also compatible with other cars using the same calipers. Set Includes: 4 shims (enough for both front calipers). Track-tested. Race-ready. MADE TO ORDER We have produced this kit to keep those brakes cool on track. Tested on some of the toughest tracks in the world. For any Mini used on track this is a must to keep those temperatures under control. We only use ply ducting not the cheap Chinese ducting you can get from ebay. This keeps the air cool when flowing to the brakes. The kit will include ducts to be fitted to the inside of the front bumper, using the existing fog light fixing points. 62mm ducting to the front brakes and all fixings. You will need to make some modifications to the arch linings but this kit can be fitted with basic tools. We have a fitting guide online to help you with the installation.
