Puretrack Racing -Megane RS mk3 Induction Kit - For Standard Air Box
Renault Megane RS Mk3 Cold-Air Induction Kit – Standard Airbox
Designed to supply a direct cold-air feed from the front of the car to the standard Renault Megane RS Mk3 airbox.
The kit can also be used to supply fresh air to an aftermarket induction system positioned within the hot engine bay. By drawing air from the front of the vehicle, it helps reduce the amount of heated engine-bay air entering the induction system.
Intake sizes from 51mm to 102mm are available, although we recommend the 76mm option for the Megane Mk3.
During our testing, the standard airbox with this cold-air feed produced comparable peak power to the complete cone-filter induction systems we tested. Results may vary depending on the vehicle, modifications, setup and testing conditions.
Kit includes
One spun-aluminium air inlet
Choice of black or silver inlet finish
Protective inlet gauze
Approximately one metre of high-temperature flexible ducting
Self-adhesive mounting pad
Two large cable ties
One pair of joining sleeves
Access to our complete online fitting guide
Important information
The standard airbox intake connection is not included and will require minor modification to attach the ducting. This can be completed using basic tools, although professional installation is recommended.
Ducting may be supplied in black or red, depending on availability.
The installer must ensure the intake and ducting are securely mounted and positioned away from moving parts, excessive heat and areas where water could be drawn into the engine.
